Safety Equipment for Racing

In any form of racing, there is a lot of different types of SAFETY EQUIPMENT.

VELOCITA RACE GEAR

VARIOUS SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Of course, there are various types of helmets. Some have the air tunnel system. You also have your seat belts, multiple sizes, and several straps and locks.

You have your neck brace for smaller classes, but for late models, there is the Hans device. The Hans device keeps your head and neck straighter without allowing your head to bounce around in an accident.

Then the standard safety device is your fire suit. Now here again you will find several different manufacturers, thicknesses and prices. You will also find undergarments you can wear to boost the fire density. Your driving shoes and gloves should be fire retardant also.

Every single race car is built with safety bars to protect the driver in an accident. And here again, there are several manufacturers and distributors. Your safety is a top priority for a lot of people.

If you have ever seen a wreck with any race car you have probably wondered, “HOW DID HE MAKE IT OUT ALIVE”. Believe me there are only 2 reasons some of these drivers survive. SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND THE HAND OF GOD. And most of the drivers that have been in severe accidents will tell you that.

I am super excited to introduce these new shoe clips to my racing family for their racing shoes. Those shoes can get so nasty on a race night and then they put them into the bag with their driving suits to set till the next race. OMG can that bag get dirty and smelly. These shoe clips will be perfect for all of you racers. Just put the clip on your race shoes and hang them on the outside of the bag or hook them in the trailer. Fresh comfortable shoes will be waiting for you the next race.,

RESULTS OF GOOD SAFETY EQUIPMENT

THANK GOD FOR SAFETY EQUIPMENT

For Example: One of our bomber drivers last week was running in the feature when his throttle stuck open. He went flying off of turn 3. Hit a barrier of tires, then hit a dump bucket and went a little airborne and landed with his right front tire over top of the fence and the rest of the car hanging straight down. Here again is safety equipment, the catch fence did its job. It caught the car and prevented it from going into the stands.

Then of course you have the human safety crew. The crew was there as soon as the car stopped. And with a little work was able to get the driver out of the car and he walked to the ambulance. The only injury he had was a cut on his chin from his helmet strap. THANK YOU JESUS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT.

NOTHING YELLS SAFETY LIKE KEEPING THE DANG CAR FROM FALLING ON YOU

MAGALIFT

You will need a quality, long-lasting lift, to raise that low riding car or truck. Lord knows for any of us racers the car sits so low, that most lifts and jacks just don’t fit unless you pick it up by hand first. This lift will pick up your vehicle if it is only 4 inches off the ground, frame rail width of 26 1/2″ to 38 1/2″. This lift is designed for race cars but will still pick up to 4000 pounds, and it is built in his garage, with a few upgrade options that will make your life a whole lot easier. For more information and pricing, go to his Facebook link or give my friend Brian a call!
