SPONSORS, for any racer, is something needed to keep your budget at a manageable level. Racing is fun, exhilarating, and sometimes crazy. But there is nothing like it.
Sponsors can be local businesses or race car parts and service companies. Each one will sponsor you in different ways, and some will give you money for their business to be on your car. Others will provide you with parts and services for their name on your car. Whatever they offer, it is always a huge help.
With the car I work on, our biggest sponsor is K&B ASPHALT. We also have several others. And of course, we are always looking for new sponsors. WARPAINT GRAPHICS, Allen does a beautiful job with the graphic designs for our car and tons of others.
FIND YOUR SPONSOR’S
There are so many people who love to sponsor race cars. You just have to do the footwork to find them. It is advertising for them in a little bit more full area than some would usually get.
As soon as you start looking, you will not believe the business that will be happy to sponsor you. Don’t limit yourself to just a few. And Lord knows that some will just laugh at you, just suck it up and keep going.
You will want to have a portfolio with information on your car, driver, and track. Pictures will be helpful too. If you make at least one page with lots of info and photos, you can leave it with some of the places, so they can check it out when they are not busy.

With us, our sponsors can be seen at several different tracks, as is the case with a lot of the guys who race late models.
The race tracks even have sponsors for the track. They are out there, and you just have to look.
If you are not a dirt track fan you need to check it out on youtube. Lot’s of tracks lots of cars and fans and a whole lot of fun.
